Invitation for Applications and Nominations
Be one of the 30 young reporters from around the world to take part in the Second IOC Young Reporters Programme in Nanjing from 12 to 29 August 2014.
The special sports journalism training programme will be organised by the International Olympic Committee as part of the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games’ Culture and Education Programme.
It will offer Young Reporters intensive class and field training in written, photographic, television, radio and new media reporting of sport, and involve guest speakers representing key international media organisations as well as senior Olympic officials.
The IOC will cover the cost of airfares, accommodation, meals and full tuition.
If you are an aspiring young reporter studying journalism in the university or polytechnic or a young professional working full time in a news organisation, and are between 18 and 24 years of age (as at 28 August 2014), you may be considered for this once in a life-time training opportunity.
