Nineteen year-old Terence Koh and his then-helmsman Teo Wee Chin were Singapore’s first gold medalists at the ISAF World Youth Championship in 2005. They followed up their World title-winning performance with a gold medal at the 2005 SEA Games. After the SEA Games, Terence paired up with Xu Yuan Zhen to win a silver medal in the 470 mens at the Asian Games in Doha in 2006.
Terence began sailing when he was 10 years old. He has held a number of helming and crewing positions and in recent years, Terence has found his forte as a crew in the Olympic 470 class. As a specialist crew, Terence is a rare commodity in Singapore. He is committed to the Olympic path for 2008 and 2012.
