Gu Juan is a former table tennis player who represented Singapore at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Then ranked world No. 17, she was the only women’s singles representative from Singapore at the 2012 Games. She finished top of her group and made it to the round of 16.
She attained Singapore citizenship in 2007 and promptly won a silver team medal at the year’s Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.
