More information
Alexander Wolters (1929 – 12 December 2003) was a water polo player who represented Singapore at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. He was the elder brother of team-mate Wiebe.
Although he joined the Singapore Swimming Club later than his brother, Alexander picked up the sport fast enough to qualify for the Olympic team. He played in three of the team’s Olympic Games.
The Olympics became Alexander’s final international outing, as he played only at club level after his return. He eventually moved to Europe for business, where he passed away in 2003.
