More information

Amanda Lim is a freestyle swimmer who competed at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. She represented Singapore in six events.

She has held the title of Southeast Asia’s fastest women since her debut in 2009, where she won the 50m freestyle event at the Vientiane SEA Games. Each year since then, she has reclaimed her medal with a new Games record. She also held the national record of 25.38s, which she set in 2009 at the Asian Youth Games, until March 2017.

Amanda currently holds three national records in the 4x100m and 4×200 freestyle relays, as well as the 4x100m medley relay.

The swimmer took a break from competing after the SEA Games on home ground and returned the next year to pursue her 2020 Olympic dreams.
