Anwarul Haque is a former national hockey goalkeeper. He played for the combined Malaysia team at the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games.

 

As a junior, Anwarul had played with the 1956 Melbourne hockey squad. He began representing Singapore overseas in 1957. He was part of the 1962 Asian Games squad. As part of the Malaysia team in Tokyo, however, he was not the first-choice goalkeeper and did not play.

 

After the Olympics, he played yet again at the 1970 Asian Games and the 1971 Seap Games, where Singapore clinched a silver medal.

 

Following his retirement from competitive hockey, he became a lawyer and subsequently, the president of the Singapore Cricket Club.
