More information
Mylene Ong represented Singapore at the 2012 Olympic Games, competing in the 100m freestyle event. She finished in 29th place overall.
She was part of the quartet that smashed both national freestyle relay records in 2009; the 4x100m in a gold-medal-winning run at the Laos Southeast Asian Games and then the 4x200m at the World Championships.
Mylene retired a year after her Olympic experience and now coaches younger competitive swimmers at the Chinese Swimming Club.
