More information
Thomas Duncan was the midship hand of Singapore’s dragon class team at the 1960 Rome Olympic Games.
Thomas, who hailed from England, worked as an accountant. Like his team-mates, he was also a member of the Royal Singapore Yacht Club.
The team finished 25th out of 27 countries at the Games, struggling however valiantly in unfamiliar and choppy waters.
He moved to the Isle of Man after the Olympics, eventually settling there.
